The answer is that it targets the knee joint.

It might look as if it sits under the knee but it is carefully designed to sit just under the kneecap. In this position it is perfectly placed to provide support to the hinged joint that forms the knee and all associated structures within it.

Reducing the amount of fabric whilst still providing effective protection for the knee joint means the Active650 Knee Band is a lightweight support that can be worn with maximum comfort for longer periods, even in the most demanding of environments.
